He is helicoptered to the home of the evil Hugo Drax and is astonished to see the mansion that, although filmed at Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte, in France, for the purposes of the script, 007 has been told was recreated brick by brick on the Drax estate.

North Yorkshire-based artist blacksmith has partnered with a galvanizing firm to preserve a memorial sculpture, ensuring it remains a fitting tribute for the community to visit for many years to come. A display of 55 works, Basho no Kankaku – A Sense of Place will be Akama’s largest exhibition to date. It will showcase a new collection of beautiful, intricately carved wooden houses of various sizes – from just 4cm (slightly bigger than a 50p piece) up to 106cm – alongside a series of architectural technical drawings and mini prints.

How do we extract beauty from the shocking? Matt Wade’s controversial painting comes with a health warning. As you enter the room where it is hung, a sign warns that there is a painting in the room that may cause offence. But why? My technique is to walk through purposefully, skim everything, note three to five examples that jump off the walls at me and then return later for a more detailed viewing. Sorry, but I just can’t manage too much input at one go.
