The Selman Marrakech in Morocco has announced a partnership with acclaimed two-star Michelin chef Jean-François Piège who will take charge of the culinary direction of the restaurants in spring 2024.

Renowned for his tenure at Alain Ducasse at Paris’ luxurious Plaza Athénée and later at the French capital’s Les Ambassadeurs, restaurant at Hôtel de Crillon, where he earned two Michelin stars, Jean-François says he is excited by the collaboration with Selman Marrakech.

He said: “I will be joining the Selman Marrakech hotel this Spring to offer a new dining experience and, together, we will redefine those spaces dedicated to the table, with the shared aim of satisfying guests from all over the world.”

Dedicated to the world's most beautiful horse breed - the Arabian thoroughbred - Selman Marrakech is a timeless palace with a distinctive atmosphere.

Set against the backdrop of the Atlas Mountains, this luxury five-star establishment, situated on a six-hectare estate, is the realisation of a dream nurtured by a visionary family deeply connected to Moroccan culture and passionate about thoroughbreds: the Bennani Smires.
