Bolton Vs Shrewsbury: Match Preview

Bolton have the opportunity to close the gap to one point on second-placed Derby with two games remaining as the Whites host Shrewsbury.

With Saturday’s draw at Portsmouth effectively sealing Pompey’s ascent to the second tier, Bolton and Derby have been neck-and-neck for weeks on end for the final automatic promotion spot, but anything other than a victory would leave Ian Evatt’s men with a huge uphill task and their face entirely out of their hands.

against them and them picking up little to no points; however, to experience breathing space, a result in tomorrow’s clash would be handy.

The form table favours the Whites, who still have championship football hanging firmly in the balance; however, with the finish line nearing and teams having to use their ultimate grit and determination in order to try and grind out results, form is immaterial.
