Bolton vs Reading Match Preview

It’s a quick turnaround on this Easter weekend for Bolton, as Reading visit the Toughsheet Community Stadium.

A 0-0 draw at Stevenage was a blow for Ian Evatt’s men, who allowed Derby County to move six points clear of them in second, effectively sealing Portsmouth's ascent.

It’s no mean feat playing for Reading, who have won back-to-back matches and still have their survival hanging in the balance.

These two sides have locked horns regularly in the top three English divisions; however, for both, this meeting could mean an enormous amount.

Whites boss Ian Evatt knows the situation and details what his side needs to do.

“We have to be brave and courageous with the ball and play with intensity and tempo. Those times we did that, we caused them (Stevenage in their recent encounter) problems, but there weren’t enough of those.

“I still think we’re very much in it, but for now we have to re-group, focus on the last six games, and try and win all of them.”
